Phases of the Moon

Today in Science we learned about the 8 phases of the moon. Please ask your child about each phase. I know they will be eager to tell you about the New Moon, Full Moon, and the two quarter moons. We also went into depth about definitions of waxing and waning. Students were stuffed with oreos after this experiment today. They got to create the phases with icing and cookies.
