Guardians,
Every Monday a
newsletter will go out for the week with important information, homework, and
updates.
This week,
students will have spelling homework Monday-Thursday as well as Math homework
(if they are in my math class.) If they are in Mr. Berkoski’s math class, they
are responsible for keeping up with their homework with him.
This week’s spelling words: admire, magnet,
contest, method, custom, rally, soccer, engine, sudden, finger, accident,
mitten, intend, fabric, flatten, rascal, gutter, mammal, happen, and cannon.
Bonus words:
dungeon, festival, injury, magnify, and thunderstorm
Vocabulary words:
selecting
-choosing
recalls
-remembers
prideful -overly

positive -certain
peculiar -strange
grand –great
Grammar focus: Declarative and Interrogative Sentences.
Declarative- statement (telling something) always ending in a period.
Interrogative- Asking a question. Always ending in a question mark.
